Malaysia Airlines’ first A330neo arrives at KL

FLAG CARRIER Malaysia Airlines has told Business Traveller Asia-Pacific it remained confident it would be able to launch its first Airbus A330-900neo (A330neo) operations before the end of 2024. The airline took delivery of the aircraft on November 29 and, at the time of going to press, its induction was expected soon. The delivery of Malaysia Airlines’ first A330neo has been pushed back several times owing to delays caused by manufacturer Airbus and its supply chain. However, the delays, coupled with those on the airline's Boeing 737 Max aircraft deliveries, have been wreaking havoc with the scheduling, prompting flight cancellations.
