Efter 17 år i kongehuset er Lene Balleby stoppet som kommunikationschef. Flere kongelige gæster var med, da hun forleden holdt afskedsreception på Amalienborg.

■ Rigtig meget er sket i kongehuset, siden Lene Balleby tiltrådte som kommunikationschef tilbage i 2008, og efter 17 år er der nu en ny på posten. Allerede i efteråret kom det frem, at kongehuset skulle på jagt efter en ny, central medarbejder, og faktisk blev Lene Balleby bedt om at blive lidt længere på posten, end hun oprindeligt havde planlagt, fortalte hofmarskal Christian Sehønau i sin tale til receptionen. Men nu er Lene Ballebys tjenestetid slut, og torsdag i sidste havde hun inviteret til afskedsreception. Rigtig mange mødte op for at sige farvel og tak i Christian VIII’s palæ, og blandt dem var naturligvis kongeparret. Dronning Mary kom nærmest direkte fra Lerbjerg Skov i Lejre, men hun foretog et hurtigt tøjskifte og dukkede kort efter op sammen med kong…
