■ Zwift was set up in 2014 by cycling enthusiast Eric Min and software developer Jon Mayfield in California. ■ Zwift membership is £12.99 per month but you can cancel it at any time. ■ Former pros Marco Pinotti and Chris Carmichael are amongst those who have devised training plans for the platform. ■ In early 2016, Zwift launched its own Academy which utilises the platform to test would-be riders suitability for pro racing. ■ In 2018, the KISS e-sports Professional Cycling League was launched.
