A relatively new brand, Fairlight has hit the ground running with the Strael 2.0 – an updated version of an earlier frame. The main changes are thru-axles plus the use of 3D-printed cable guides. The frame is made entirely from Reynolds steel. With an 853 front triangle welded with 631 chain stays and 725 seat stays, its oval tubing and custom butting help make it a beautiful-looking bike. Although a pure road bike, the Strael 2.0 is designed for all conditions. With 700x28c Continental GP5000 tyres fitted there’s still plenty of space should mudguards or wider rubber be required. External cable routing, meanwhile, ensures easy maintenance, although should you wish to move to Di2, the frame features internal routing thanks to those new 3D printed cable guides. On the road…
