UK TO AUSTRALIA The lesser known and explored countries in between was the main attraction for this trip, to pass through communities and villages simply flown over or quickly driven through by conventional means of transport! First challenges arose quickly crossing Europe and the Alps in April, rain was daily, snow still lined the passes when crossing the Austrian alps - the Grossglockner had only just reopened a week prior as the snow was pushed to the sides. Thunderstorms and floodings made the off road crossing on the Adriatic crest in Croatia and the Balkans a real adventure with challenging camping conditions!
