More ‘whirr’ than ‘Aaargh!’ A world where cycling to work, to the shops, to friends is the norm, and streets are safe, open and free. As the planet tries to find ways to move forward after Covid-19, cycling is starting to be part of the plan, as wider, less cramped streets and reduced crowding in commuter trains and taxis become more crucial. As Winston Churchill famously said: “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” Could our post-Covid world be more cycling-friendly? Definitely.
