A limited, very crowned edition. Whenever there was a special occasion in the progress of humanity, Glenfiddich was there. It has been so for the last 125 years. William Grant, the Glenfiddich founder, was born in 1839, in the Scottish Highlandstown of Dufftown and already in 1887 he was building his own distillery to create ‘the best dram in the valley’ (‘dram’ is the Scottish word for a measure of whisky). In 1886, he and his family of nine had saved enough money to buy in a year their own piece of land at Glenfiddich (meaning ‘Valley of the Deer’). One year more, the first spirit flew from the stills.
