I land in Mahé for the umpteenth time. I do not want to sound presumptuous but I really do not remember how many times I have landed in this island. For sure the first was when I was a kid on vacation with my parents. Well, indeed their vacation, since when I was ten I would rather be with my friends at home! But in some recesses of the mind this old trip must have remained entangled in my memory. Since then I have felt the urge to return again and again. And of course I returned on several occasions.
