“I couldn’t say there were many similarities. Todt was very well-connected, so if he wanted to get things done he would pick up the telephone and it would be done. I think Ron was better at arranging deals and getting the money he needed for whatever, whereas Todt was a lot more blunt. They were both very manipulative to get what they wanted, but Ron was a better tactician – he was a lot more persuasive than Todt. I got on well with both of them, but Ron was much more of an ally where Todt was definitely the boss.…
