F1 minnows seeking financial security

It was a busy paddock in Hockenheim, with the focus very much falling on the teams at the back of the F1 grid that are now all beginning to restructure as money gets shorter. Caterham has been taken over recently and Marussia is expected to announce a management buyout soon. Sauber is still pushing onwards with its plans to do a deal with Russia’s Rostec, although this is looking less of good idea as the company has become one of the targets for US sanctions over Russian involvement in Ukraine.
