Did you design the two cars together? “Yes, but the Fortwo is the core product and that was done first, with the challenge that it was essential to keep it below 2.7 metres long. “It was also essential to keep a family look, as we want to make Smart more visible on the streets. That’s why they are almost identical front and rear and in the cabin.
