Kia’s fourth generation Sorento seven-seater SUV kicks off at $50,680 for the 200kW 3.5-litre V6 petrol/eight-speed automatic/front wheel drive S model. Sport is $53,300, Sport Plus is $58,230 and GT Line is $65,590. A 148kW 2.2-litre four cylinder turbodiesel is paired with a dual clutch eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive in the same model grades: S, at $53,680; Sport at $56,300; Sport Plus at $61,230 (tested here) and GT Line at $68,590. A 2024 update brings an EV9-style facelift, digital instruments and rear view mirror on GT Line, the Kia Connect service and over the air infotainment updates. Safety improvements include enhanced adaptive cruise, lane keep assist and park assist systems.
