A stately terrace in inner Melbourne receives an inspired makeover that honours the past while welcoming the future.

Three’s company for the owners of this handsome home in Melbourne’s inner northeast. Three generations live under its crafted brick roof and it comprises as many pavilions, which boldly straddle three centuries. Yet this beguiling blend of the young and not-so-young melds into a harmonious whole.
