AT THE end of each magazine production cycle, in the final days before we send the files off to the printer to create the magazine, I sit down to write this page. Sometimes I’ll have something in mind and occasionally it will have been something that spurred me on to write the column earlier in the process, but more often than not I’ll look back over what’s going to the printers to find my inspiration. Sometimes it’s a mind-blowing custom build that I wish I could make my own, while at other times it’s a new product or an engineer that I’ve met that has left an impression that I want to share.
