While the Pathfinder sported a 3.0-litre V6, the Jeep Cherokee had a 4.0-litre straight-six and the Land Rover Discovery was powered by a 4.0-litre V8. Rather surprisingly, they were all within $1700 of one another. Our judges were pretty noncommittal about the winner, but it wasn’t the Jeep!
