BIRDSVILLE BIG RED BASH (QLD) Every July, Birdsville’s iconic Big Red Bash kicks off under the open skies of Australia’s Simpson Desert. Thousands of people from around Australia, and the world, head into the far western Queensland desert for the most remote music festival on the planet. This year the big music event of the outback will be held over July 2 to 4 on the plains below the tall sand dune known as ‘Big Red’.
