I ordered Popular Mechanics not Popular Sciencr. This magazine sucks. Very liberal slant. Global warming, climate change, blah blah blah.
My guys who read this say there's not enough SCIENCE. Lots of incidental stuff, but no real meaty topics. We won't renew this one.
Another leisure magazine who has taken on the President of United States with negative articles. It is bad enough that USA citizens are bombarded everyday with negative media against the President, and now Popular Science has joined its ranks.
I bought this subscription for my 16 year old son who wants to be a physicist. It's basically a catalogue selling new gadgets. No depth to anything. He isn't remotely interested in it.
This magazine used to be good, it along with its brother Popular Mechanics have gone by the wayside with way to many ads. Seriously, you only get a small magazine to begin with and then maybe one good article with the rest of the magazine bloated with ads.
I had read Popular Science since the late 1930s. I loved to old format, but abhor the current artwork and content.
I hated this magazine. Information was not researched and it felt like an amateur wrote most articles. For example, there was an article about Florida (native here), and nothing was correct. Every time it comes in, it goes straight to the recycle bin. I thought it was going to be a cool and interesting magazine that the family would like, boy was I wrong!
First off Discount Mags is a great company! Huge Fan
But Popular Science, my previous favorite, has suddenly decided to Change from 12 issues a month to 6 bi-monthly publications per their Jan/Feb Edition. SO BUYER BEWARE! That's ONLY 6 issues/YEAR.
Apparently good folks at Discount Mag have not caught up to Popular Science's CHANGED PUBLICATION PATTERN yet... because Discount mags current advertisement (Today 12/20/15) still lists 12 Issues per Year.
Secondly the print page quality is garbage, too thin & glossy. One can see through the print text on other side... like a cheap newspaper. What's up Popular Science?
12 issues had 78 page/issue
This bimonthly issue had close to only 110. That's not double of 78! And... more advertisements.
WISH YOU HAD NOT CHANGED THAT POP SCI... Their are still print lovers out here
Not very well put together periodical, disjointed articles. Lots of adds, content lacks depth, and is generally a recycle bin candidate.
Fake news, fake science!
